If you find the prompt"Your postings are current," then no upgrade is required. If you visit"A map update is available for purchase," then your apparatus is not qualified for a free upgrade.

Step 7:- Click"Continue" when prompted with"Willing to upgrade your maps" If your apparatus lacks the storage space required to install the update, you'll be guided through eliminating music and pictures to make room.

Leave the device plugged in while the upgrade downloads and installs. It may take multiple hours to finish.
